Japanese tattooing
Colorful flowing tattoos that usually cover larger parts of the body.
Strong imagery that finds their origin closely linked to the woodblock prints from the great masters like Kuniyoshi and Hokusai.
Tattoos that tell the tales of The 108 heroes of the Suikoden, adventures of Kintaro, Buddhist gods, and demons, mythical creatures like dragons, tigers, koi, kirin, snakes etc..
All Japanese tattoos I do are custom designs I draw on the spot and preferably freehand so it goes well with the shape of the muscle and the body.
Most of my inspiration I get from working closely together with other artists.
We have guest artists coming in on a regular base with who I work and study very closely with. We also have an extensive book collection about Japanese tattoos and culture.
